The National Arts Theatre is the primary centre for the performing arts in Nigeria. The monument is located inIganmuLagos State. Construction was completed in 1976 in preparation for the Festival of Arts and Culture (FESTAC) in 1977.

According to history, the massive edifice of nature which was named ‘Olumo’ – meaning ‘God molded this’, was a safe haven for Egba indigenes during war times in the 19th century.  The Rock perfectly hid the people such that the enemy - warriors from Dahomey (now present day Republic of Benin), could never get to locate them.

Zuma Rock is a large monolith, an igneous intrusion composed of gabbro and granodiorite that is located in Niger State, Nigeria. It rises spectacularly immediately north of Nigeria's capital Abuja, along the main road from Abuja to Kaduna, and is sometimes referred to as the "Gateway to Abuja." Zuma Rock is 725 metres (2,379 ft) above its surroundings.

Sungbo's Eredo is a rampart or system of walls and ditches that is located to the south-west of the Yoruba town of Ijebu-Ode in Ogun state, southwest Nigeria (6.78700°N 3.87488°E). It was built in honour of the Ijebu noblewoman Oloye Bilikisu Sungbo, and is reputed to be the largest single pre-colonial monument in Africa.


Riyom Rock is one of nature's most spectacular rock formations, located 25 kilometers southwest of Jos, near Riyom town.
